Sixth Form Life
We have a flourishing Sixth Form at St Paul's and the majority of our students decide to stay with us, as they know that we support them well and will help to ensure that they gain entry to the universities, apprenticeships and employment of their choice.
We offer a full range of traditional academic subjects alongside modern creative and applied courses as well as a unique enrichment programme that helps students develop the skills that studying alone cannot teach, thereby supporting them in becoming independent and happy young adults. From our work experience placements to working as a Teaching Assistant and mentor with younger students, we will provide a range of activities to truly enrich the sixth form experience. Students will get the opportunity to fundraise, plan events, play sports, learn new skills and develop friendships.
Students are invited to apply for posts as Ambassadors and to join the Sixth Form Leadership Team. These roles provide students with excellent opportunities to develop their skills and develop relationships between students, lower school and the staff, thereby creating a dynamic learning environment.
Careers provision in the sixth form is purposeful and individualised. This helps many sixth form students go on to study at top universities and other highly competitive employment programmes." Ofsted - January 2024
